Pinterest is een bron van inspiratie wanneer je een eigen huis gaat bouwen. Er zijn zoveel keuzes te maken of je nu een nieuw huis gaat bouwen of gaat verbouwen.
Bij een casco te bouwen huis begint het allemaal met het soort huis, wordt het houtbouw of stenen. Gaat je voorkeur uit naar een modern huis of toch meer traditioneel, landelijk of jaren 30. Witte, grijze, rode stenen, riet of een dak met dakpannen. Uiteraard zijn de keuzes afhankelijk van het budget dat beschikbaar is. Wij hebben een budget voor de cascobouw en grond en daarnaast een een budget voor het afbouwen van het huis. Naast electra, verwarming, waterleidingen, aanleg tuin en bestrating zullen we ook zelf een keuken plaatsen, de badkamer aanleggen en uiteraard zal ons huis ook ingericht moeten worden.
Hoe en welke leidingen waar komen te liggen, vind ik niet zo heel interessant, maar hoe, waar en welke keuken we gaan plaatsen en hoe we het beste de badkamer in kunnen delen, ja, dat vind ik leuk om mee bezig te zijn.

We hebben eerder in een jaren dertig huis gewoond, met de glas in lood ramen, hoge plafonds en ornamenten. We willen nu een combinatie van landelijk, modern en industrieel.

There are so many choices to make whether you are going to build a new house or are going to renovate.
It all starts with the type of house you want to build, do you use timber or stones. In The Netherlands almost all of the houses are build with stones.
Do you prefer a modern house or more traditional, rural or a georgian house. White, gray or red stones, reeds or a roof with roof tiles. Of course, the choices depend on the budget that is available. We have a budget for the construction of the house and the land which we have to buy and also a budget for the completion of the house. In addition to electricity, heating, water pipes, construction of garden and paving, we will also install a kitchen, the bathroom and of course our house will also have to be decorated.
How and where all kinds of pipes will be located, is not my cup of tea, but the the location an the look of the kitchen or how the bathroom will be, yes that’s my cup of tea!

Before we have lived in a Georgian house, with stained glass windows, high ceilings and ornaments. We now want a combination of rural, modern and industrial.
